Fenix 1/10th formula gear differential

Fenix have issued a first image of their forthcoming gear differential for 1/10th formula cars. Coming for 6mm and 1/4″ rear axles the diff is designed to replace the standard ball differential as found on pretty much every formula kit out there. Offering a ball-raced and very narrow design the diff will allow for some fine-tuning using different greases from what is understood. A definite release date is not set yet but according to Fenix the diff, that is on show on the forthcoming Hobby Model Expo in Milan, will become available by the end of the year.

Team Powers Radon Sport V2 brushless controller

Coming soon from Team Powers is the Radon Sport V2 brushless speed controller. The upgraded V2 comes with several hardware and software improvements to boost performance and reliability. Starting with the hardware upgrades the V2 sports swapped A and C motor wires for easier wiring, the alloy case features a newly designed heatsink that allows to mount the new 30mm fan flat or at a 30 degree angle and both the receiver connection and programming wire have been relocated to avoid unwanted removal. As for the software changes the speedo offers a single modified and stock program, simplified boost and turbo settings as well as improved brake adjustment and smoother throttle control. The new firmware also addresses reliability issues when running boosted stock motors with high timing settings and the improved software also keeps the ESC running at lower temperatures

German Team C distributors Absima now have the follow-up model of the popular CTS8 1/8th brushless speed controller available. Offering a revised firmware for improved performance as well as a machined aluminium case the speedo is usable in a range of 1/8th applications including buggies, trucks and on-road cars thanks to its 180A rating and 6S LiPo compatibility. Il telaio è realizzato in fibra di carbonio ed è disegnato per utilizzare sia batterie Li-Po tipo short e normali spostando il regolatore di velocità dalla parte frontale a quella posteriore. il Booster per automodelli elettrici tipo nos

La Horizon hobby ha sviluppato il sistema Dynamite TurboKick: un booster “nitro” per automodelli elettrici. Questo dispositivo grazie a un condensatore immagazzina energia dalla batteria e permette di avere un booster che aumenta accelerazione e velocità massima del modello. In pratica il TurboKick incrementa il voltaggio inviato al regolatore di velocità approssimativamente di 3.7–4.2V per un massimo di 5 secondi.

Come possiamo vedere nel video qui sopra l’installazione è molto semplice e Ovviamente il TurboKick non è pensato per le competizioni ma certamente è un dispositivo che aumenta il divertimento dei modellisti bashers.
