Tamiya new F1 wheel sets

Tamiya expands its F1 wheel product line with these new silver, gold and white wheels. These wheels complement the existing black wheels already available for Tamiya’s line-up of modern F1 cars such as the TRF101, F104 and F104 V.2. They will also work on many of the F1 chassis on the market that have patterned their design around the Tamiya wheel specification. The non-ribbed wheels are designed to fit the popular Pit-Shimizu rubber tyre as well as foam tyres. The ribbed wheels are designed to fit Tamiya’s proprietary rubber tyre as well as the Pardus tyres.

New Tuning Haus Formula 1 wheels

Tuning Haus have new Formula 1 wheels available for the use with all popular foam and rubber tyres. Pit Shimizu tyres mount easier thanks to the taller ridge on the outside face of the wheel, while Pardus drivers will appreciate a choice of wheel colour. The rims also have an improved front bearing fit and rollout and they are coming in pairs in white, black, and gunmetal colour.

Sweep Racing STC-4: Carrozzeria per Touring Car 190mm

La Sweep Racing ha presentato una nuova carrozzeria per touring car in scala 1/10. La STC-4 è compatibile con modelli 190mm e sarà disponibile nella versione da 0.8mm di spessore e alleggerita da 0.65mm, entrambe con alettone posteriore da 1mm. La carrozzeria è disegnata rispettando i regolamenti internazionali IFMAR e EFRA ed è sviluppata per incrementare il downforce anteriore e posteriore e massimizzare la velocità in curva.

MD Racing MDF14 formula 1 pan car

Spanish company MD Racing recently released first CAD rendering of their MDF14 called formula 1 pan car kit and now have first prototype images available. The vehicle makes use of a carbon fibre main chassis, features a combined upperdeck/battery locator and a stand-up aluminium servo mount that allows to adjust the Ackermann effect by shifting the mount forth and back. Also part of the design is a sturdy front bulkhead that appears to allow for caster adjustment by shifting the upper arms forth and back while the rear motor pod sports "floating" axle inserts that are height adjustable using grub screws. The car in question is an early prototype and we understand that the production kit will come with gold-anodised aluminium parts and several detail refinements

Spec-R R1 HD gear differential set

Spec-R now have this heavy duty gear differential set for their R1 touring car available. Unfortunately Spec-R do not state the differences between the standard and HD diff bit given the name the new variant better suits the rigours of modified racing.

TRR TRF418 main chassis

German company TRR introduce three new main chassis plates for the Tamiya TRF418 touring car. First up is the CDE 1.0, a 2.2mm chassis made from carbon fibre especially made for TRR. is offers a new shape and cut out sections under the differentials and the main gear. The second new chassis is the CDE 1.1, the stiffer version of the 1.0 as it is of a "closed" design with pockets rather than cut-outs under the diffs and main gear. Both chassis are also available in 2.0mm and 2.5mm on special request.

Last but not least comes the CDE 2.0, a 2mm aluminium chassis. Again sporting cut outs but being of a 100 percent symmetrical design as the carbon chassis, the 2.0 comes polished but a matte finish version may be available in the future. All three chassis need to have the inner wishbone hinge pins shorted (3mm up front and 1mm in the rear) with a short manual coming with the chassis.

Teamsaxo carbon fibre wing plates

Teamsaxo have new design carbon fibre wing side plates for F1 cars available. They are of a more "old school" design than the modern day TS-01801 and TS-01802 plates and are meant to reduce the aerodynamic drag. The parts are CNC-machined from carbon fibre and allow to adjust the angle of the upper flap for downforce fine-tuning.

Questa linea di prodotti è pensata per avere buone performance ma un prezzo alla portata di tutti. I motori sono utilizzabili su automodelli in scala 1/10, 1/16 e 1/18. Nella lineup c’è anche una comoda program car a LED che serve per la programmazione degli ESC e costa appena 12 euro.

Spec-R S2 electric touring car kit

Spec-R introduce the S2 1/10th electric touring car kit with the help of somewhat small-ish (and therefore blurry images). The club-level racer is the follow-up model of the S1 and builds on a narrow 2.5mm thick glass fibre chassis with 2mm upper deck and a redesigned aluminium motor mount with centre support and a new motor position that put the motor 2mm further in. The kit also includes a new centre servo mount, 3mm fibreglass shock towers, and metal/composite shock absorbers.

Protoform anti-tuck body stiffeners

Made for most 190mm bodyshells are these anti-tuck body stiffeners from Protoform. The are developed to prevent annoying and race destroying body tucks by reinforcing the rear fender and trunk section. The stiffeners also add rigidity to the rear section at high speed. Weighting in at only 4.5g the stiffeners change the weight bias and centre of gravity only minimal. Each set comes with two anti-tuck body stiffeners, mounting hardware and a Protoform decal sheet.

German nVision distributor Hype introduce four new nVision LiPo battery packs for 1/8th, 1/10th and 1/12th scale applications. Coming as 2S 7200mAh standard, 2S 4500mAh shorty and 2S 5800mAh saddle pack as well as 1S 7200mAh 1/12th scale pack, the batteries sport a 100C discharge rating and they come in protective hardcases. There is no definite release date but they should be available soon
